beyond food
Wellbeing Coaching for Your Relationship with Food, Yourself & Life
When food, stress or your relationship with yourself start feeling difficult to manage…
…there is likely much more going on beneath the surface.
Personalised one-to-one wellbeing coaching for those who want to understand emotional or binge eating, break free from negative thoughts, emotions, restrictive cycles and feel better in their body as well as build a calmer, more trusting relationship with food and themselves.
Emotional eating · Binge eating patterns · Stress · Self-worth · Body image · Self-trust and confidence
Beyond the Food Coaching is personalised one-to-one wellbeing coaching for understanding the patterns beneath the surface, and learning how to respond to yourself and life's challenges differently.
WHO IS IT FOR?
If you struggle with emotional, binge eating or disordered eating patterns,
If you feel tired, overwhelmed and wired no matter how much sleep you have,
If you know what you should eat, but find yourself eating differently when you are stressed, lonely, angry, bored or overwhelmed,
If you don't feel comfortable in your body and mind anymore,
If you say yes when you really want to say no,
If you have realised that food is only part of the story,
If you feel life is just about struggles.
This is the best time to start. You are at the right place.
No commitment. A chance to talk, ask questions and see whether working together feels right for you.
Does this sound familiar?
You know what you should eat, but when you're stressed, lonely, angry, tired or overwhelmed, things change.
You keep telling yourself you'll start again tomorrow, and somehow the same cycle continues.
You feel uncomfortable in your body or spend too much mental energy thinking about food, weight or what you should and shouldn't eat.
You are hard on yourself and rarely feel that you are doing enough.
You say yes when you really want to say no, take care of everyone else, and struggle to know what you actually need.
You feel disconnected from your body, your emotions, or even from who you are.
You are hard on yourself and rarely feel that you are doing enough.
You sense that food is only part of the story.
Instead of “just” making sense of emotional eating, my clients permanently release it, uncover the hidden triggers, and step back into their full authentic self.
Every session is shaped around you.
Depending on what is happening in your life, we may explore 1 or more themes:
01 Food & emotional eating
Emotional eating, binge eating patterns, restriction, physical vs. emotional hunger, tiredness, guilt, all-or-nothing thinking and the cycle of starting over.
02 Self-confidence & body image
Self-criticism, confidence, body image, self-worth, traumatic situations, and learning to recognise what you actually need.
03 Stress & emotional patterns
Stress management strategies when life feels overwhelming, how to work with suppressed emotions, how to create more space between what you feel and how you respond.
04 Relationships & boundaries
People-pleasing, difficulty saying no, putting everyone else first, relationship difficulties and losing touch with your own needs and care for your self.
05 Identity & direction
Understanding what you genuinely want, values and needs, beyond food, life or job roles, expectations or the path you've been following.
where we begin
We'll start with what is happening in your life right now, a real situation where you feel stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, self-sabotaging or ready for something to change.
There is no predefined programme you have to follow.
Coaching sessions are shaped around your real life, your needs and the situations you are actually facing. Together, we'll create a structure that fits your life style, needs and the situations you are actually facing.
Because emotional, binge eating and disordered eating patterns, as well as stress, self-criticism or feeling disconnected from yourself can have very different roots.
For one person, it may be pressure and stress at work. For another, a relationship, difficulty setting boundaries, or constantly adapting to other people's needs or emotions. Someone else may be struggling with body image, self-worth, loneliness, sadness or a harsh inner voice. Or self-sabotaging patterns.
We start there.
We look closely at what is happening in that particular situation, and then follow what emerges, going deeper only where it is meaningful and useful.
We don't go deeper simply for the sake of going deeper. We go where it helps you understand yourself and create a different, desirable, response in your life.
One situation at a time.
One step at a time.
With clear structure and practical direction.
Because meaningful change doesn't happen only during the hour we spend together.
It happens when you begin responding differently in everyday life.
What does our coaching session look like?
There is no script you have to follow.
The foundation of our work is creating a space where you don't have to perform, explain yourself or have all the answers. You can simply be heard, without judgement or pressure.
Some days we talk over a cup of tea or cacao or meet in the office setting.
Some days we walk and talk through a park, forest or botanical garden.
Some days we slow down and look closely at a situation, thought or pattern that keeps repeating.
Sometimes we work with breath, movement, yoga or simple embodiment practices.
Sometimes we simply need enough quiet space for something important to finally be heard.
You choose the setting. I bring the structure.
Every session has a clear focus and a practical intention, while leaving enough space to respond to what you need that day.
And then:
The aim is not only to understand yourself better.
It is to know what to do differently when real life happens.
What you’ll leave with
More than insight. Practical tools and change.
Every session is designed to give you something you can take into your everyday life. Every person, every story and every season of life is different. That is why we explore what matters most to you and follow what emerges, going deeper only where it is meaningful and useful.
01
A clear focus
We identify what matters most right now, so you don't feel overwhelmed by trying to change everything at once.
02
Practical next steps
You leave knowing what you can try, practise, experiment with. You’ll implement changes between sessions, transforming step by step.
03
Personalised notes
After each session, I send you a written summary of what we explored, together with reflections and recommendations tailored to you.
04
Practical toolkit
Variable creative techniques, embodiment practices, journaling prompts, reflections and other resources selected around your needs.
05
Structure & support
Session by session, we build a personalised path forward, adapting it whenever your needs or circumstances change.
We will turn your insights into practical changes you can use at work, at home, in relationships and around food. The focus may change as you do.
Your real life gives us the starting point.
I bring structure and tools.
That gives you direction towards meeting your goals.
You don't have to figure it all out alone.
