🌿 Feeling those emotions are not defining who you are! People often think I am "peaceful." They tell me, “You have such a calming presence.” That they feel at peace when they talk to me. But the truth? It wasn’t always like that. I still can get easily triggered. I know what it’s like to feel a storm raging inside. Moments where you want to scream, break something—just to release the intensity building up within me. And in those moments, the last thing that is helping is sitting with it in silence. Instead, move it. Change the physiology of your body. With the breath or with writing it down. Look up in the sky. Shake it. Express it. Ideally, in a way that was safe—for you and for others. That’s the space I create for my clients. A safe space for emotional release. Because you can’t always think your way out of a feeling. You can’t force clarity when you’re in a reactive state. The truth is—what worked for me might not work for you. That’s why I don’t offer “one-size-fits-all” solutions. I listen. I ask the right questions. And then—an intense urge to eat something. 🍪🍫 Your body wants comfort, anything to numb the pain. I know this feeling. Been there, done that. Pause. Take a deep breath. Here’s what to do instead of reaching for food: ✨ Name it – What do you feel? Write it down: “I am feeling ______ right now.” Identifying your emotions reduces their intensity. ✨ Feel It, Don’t feed it – Your body is asking for relief, not food. Place a hand on your chest, breathe deeply, and let the emotion move through you.If it requires more tears, let them flow (ideally in safe place). ✨ Shift the state – Move your body. Walk, stretch, shake it off. sit in the other place of the room. Physical movement helps release stuck emotions. ✨ Choose with awareness – If you still feel like eating, ask: What comfort am I seeking? Choose from a place of care, not impulse. Do you need to hug yourself? Do it! 🚀 Emotional eating is a pattern—but patterns can be changed.
